Hello everyone! Thank you for taking the time to read my blog! I decided to create this blog after getting accepted to a study abroad program at the University of Oxford in the United Kingdom for a few weeks out of the summer. I intend to use this blog in two different ways. My first half of the blog will be dedicated to the places I visit and the adventures I go on while I am “across the pond.” This will be both a great tool for me to remember all the things I did on the trip, and be a great way for family, friends, and other potential vistors to Europe to follow along on my expeditions. My second half of the blog - when I return from Europe - will be a summary of all my advice and suggestions for preparing to go abroad. I have spent countless hours researching tips from numerous sources online all about how best to travel to Europe as a student, and was disappointed that no one website had a good all encompassing database of advice and travel information for students. I was looking for the best fares on travel, cheapest hostels, things to pack, and places to visit. I want to share with you all what I have found and wether or not that was a good choice. My hope is that this blog will become a forum for others to read and then post their own research; in the future, my goal is to make this a useful and encompassing source of information for anyone wishing to go abroad.
